Born a chubby little fella to a Scottish mother and an English father who at the time, was serving in the RAF.

I always remember this defining time in my life, my dad bravely checking our car for explosives with family around the corner. Starting the car was interesting, and I used to think it could happen anytime!

Having dated way back, we met back up and have been together ever since.

Although the picture was taken in Spain on holiday, having children in my life is all I ever wanted. I feel blessed!

One of my last exercises in the British Army. I left as a Sergeant in 2010. It was a difficult decision but the write one at the time. I served for 14 years.

Meeting Dan, my work partner was one of the pivotal in my transition to my new life in civilian street. Without him, It may not have worked out the way it has.

Opening our first gym at Hamble Point Marina to work with professional athletes and the general population

7 marathons in 7 days, my first challenge to help raise money for the Southampton General High Dependancy Unit who saved my son’s life.

Off the back of running 7 marathons in 7 days, I set the challenge of breaking 3hrs in sandals which I did by the skin of my teeth.

After 3 successful years, It was time to leave our first gym and take back step forward, moving into a 5000sqft unit 300m away.

Our home for the next 10 years and beyond. Its been backbreaking work but one that is growing year on year.

Never in a million year would I have thought possible or even thought of but its been life-changing! 6th place in my fist years and Ive gone on to be selected for the last 3 years.

The day I knew I have an incredible task on my hands. Things started to collapse, and I had to pull It together in order to get back home safe. 10 Duathlons in 10 days from Morrococ to Southampton.

Walking into theatre needing a hernia operation after we discovered the problem after day 5 of Le Tour Du. All went well and I’m back fighting fit.
