Career So Far
My journey has been anything but ordinary. Fourteen years in the British Army shaped my resilience, discipline, and leadership, with deployments to Bosnia, Northern Ireland, and Iraq. Those years taught me what it really means to adapt under pressure and perform when it matters most.
When I left the Army in 2010, I retrained as a personal trainer and strength & conditioning coach, driven by a passion for helping people realise their potential. In 2011, I founded Pinnacle Performance, building it from a mobile personal training service into a respected health, fitness, and performance coaching business. Our mission is simple: to deliver industry-leading coaching that’s inclusive, evidence-led, and tailored to real life.
Alongside running Pinnacle, I’m also the Chief Operating Officer at Brownlee Fitness, working with world-class athletes and everyday competitors alike. As a GB Age Group duathlete and occasional endurance challenge participant, including running and cycling from Morocco to Southampton for charity and completing 7 marathons in 7 days barefoot, I know the value of setting ambitious goals and seeing them through.
I’m currently writing my first book, Turning the Key, which draws on my personal experiences in family, business, sport, and service. The aim is to inspire others to face adversity with strength, find meaning in hardship, and take bold action in life.
Looking ahead, I’m developing my work as an inspirational speaker, sharing lessons from my career, my challenges, and my wins, helping businesses, teams, and individuals to perform at their best, even when the odds are stacked against them.
