Most people know me for coaching. Or racing. Or running 7 marathons in 7 days barefoot.
But there’s a bigger reason behind all of it, and that’s where guest speaking comes in.
I didn’t start out trying to be a speaker. In fact, for most of my early life, I was just trying to survive, adapt, and figure things out. School was tough. Dyslexia made learning a grind. The Army taught me discipline, but it was endurance sport that taught me how to suffer, process, and move forward differently.
And that’s where the value is now. Not in the finish lines. But in what they taught me along the way.
From the Field to the Front of the Room
When you’ve run 275 km over 7 days on nothing but grit, or cycled and run across countries for charity, you learn a thing or two about pain, purpose, and pacing yourself, both physically and mentally.
These are the stories I now bring into schools, businesses, events, and coaching communities:
- How to lead under pressure
- Why mindset beats motivation every time
- What “resilience” really means when things fall apart
- Why your limits aren’t where you think they are
I don’t deliver polished keynotes or recycled motivational fluff.
I speak from the trenches, from the weight of a Bergen in Bosnia to the final 10K of a back-to-back ultra.
And what connects all of it is that people relate. Because it’s not about sport, it’s about showing up in challenging moments.
Who I Speak To
- Schools and youth groups that need to hear that failing doesn’t mean you’re finished
- Coaches and coaching teams who want to lead better, think clearly, and serve more honestly.
- Businesses facing pressure, burnout, or change
- Charity and endurance audiences where stories need to move people, not just entertain them
Why It Matters
Speaking isn’t about standing on stage and impressing people.
It’s about leaving them with something that sticks.
If you’re looking for someone to talk about real endurance, the kind that comes from life, not just racing, I’m happy to have the conversation.
